Cop saves Actress. Actress goes to recover to Cop's house and obviously end up falling in love and having kids. What do guys learn in school? Tsk tsk.

Only Tippy. Someone slap that idiot. No knee bending. No hints. Didn't even mention it until she read it in the paper. How thoughtful. He was lucky she was already infatuated with him to care. I want one for my future babies!!

Perhaps it's because you blackmail me, steal from me, threaten me and send your BF to kidnap both of your sons for drug purposes? It was funny after all. Mar 30, Lyraa Levine rated it liked it. I read this one after Lawless mainly because I loved Cash Grier character. But these characters dont have any resemblance to the previous book, they could have been different people In Lawless, Cash was in love with Christabel who was the only woman he was comfortable with.

Tippy was a vamp in that book. This was one book where I was hoping Cash was as rude to her as DP heroes are to the innocent heroines. May be because I couldnt get over her cruelty in the first book or digest the fact that the women who lied through her teeth out of spite and jealousy in the first book comes out as honest in the second.

Had teh change been gradual I would have added another star there Aug 26, Chuanen Tan rated it liked it. This book was disappointing compared to the previous book in this series. This book is part of a series called Long, Tall Texans. You'd probably have to read the previous book in this series, Lawless, to understand what's going on as it's a continuation of Lawless.

I wanted to read this book as I felt that I wanted to see Tippy in another light. I thought that Tippy might not just be a bitch, but underneath the snippy exterior, she might actually be a good person.

Diana Palmer sometimes writes c This book was disappointing compared to the previous book in this series. Diana Palmer sometimes writes characters two-dimension-ally. She gives the 'bad' characters a second chance, which is something I really like. I like complex and unusual characters.

However, this story was disappointing to me. There was no angst, which I usually look for in books. I rate this book 3 out of 5. Jun 19, Phyllis rated it it was amazing Recommends it for: all. Shelves: diana-palmer. I don't know how I missed this the first time around in Diana Palmer is an automatic buy for me.

I love the family aspect in her stories and even though some do not turn out as you'd like, if a story makes me cry, then it's a winner to me. Thanks, Diana. Jun 30, Marie rated it really liked it. This book follows on with the Texan series. Through the previous you get to know and love the renegade sheriff Cash Grier who is one of my favourite characters Diana Palmer has written about. This is Cash and Tippy's story and was a pleasure to read.

Mar 19, ButtonsMom rated it liked it Shelves: audio , harlequin-audio-arc. I still loved the voices he did for the male characters. The whole story seemed to be one unbelievable thing after another even for this genre and I love romance.

Even allowing for the year that this was published , it was just too much. We have meet Cash in previous books and I couldn't wait to to read his story! The story flowed so well and both characters were, not only likeable but loveable. The intense feelings if despair, frustration, fear and love were so palpable it jumped through the pages!. Tippy is a model turned actress with a hunting pass and a little brother to take care off. During her stay in Jacobsville she meets Cash, the sheriff and despite her reluctance to get close to men, she falls in love.

Both succumb to their feelings and have a passionate night together. After a few misunderstandings Cash pushes Tippy away when she needed him the most. Fantastic read, packed with action and romance. Highly recommended! One of my favourite authors and she never fails to disappoint! We've already met Tippy and Cash in other novels but this is their story. It's full of twists and mistakes that eventually lead them to where they both need to be - together! A closed off lawman with lots of mystery, Cash isn't the type of man an actress like Tippy would go for.

But she's not shallow and her depth is hidden very carefully so that her true self doesn't get hurt! Diana makes sure her characters are flesh and blood and One of my favourite authors and she never fails to disappoint! Diana makes sure her characters are flesh and blood and the type you'd like to meet in real life!

I've read this book so many times and it never fails to disappoint and I thoroughly enjoy it each time! RENEGADE by Diana Palmer Love, sex, romance, betrayal, heartache, mystery, longing, murder, kidnapping, sacrifice, friends, family, community, heartbreak, intrigue, loving, needing, and the letter of the law You can't beat Diana Palmer for packing her books full of excitement and danger intertwined with sizzling sex and romance.

Of course Cassius "Cash" Grier is one of my most favorite D. May 14, Becky rated it really liked it. One of my favorites in the series. I really enjoyed how strong the characters were and how both were fighting their own demons from past experiences to come together, not only as lovers but as friends.

I especially enjoyed the constant banter between them. It was humorous and brought out the true human side of all the characters. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because there was a lot of repeating dialogue and comments throughout the book. Jun 22, Ada Iaboni rated it it was ok. Although better than some, I found this book almost annoying. The two main characters were damaged people, OK, got it.

But it beat on that drum a long time. And with each having a "past" they should have been more aware of the other's issues and not compound the problems. It was predictable and not as interesting as I hoped.

May 12, Nandie rated it really liked it. Cash Greir and Tippy! I was dying to read this one and so glad I got a copy. I couldn't put this one down. In the long, tall texan series almost all the story lines are the same in every book but I enjoy them. Best book ever.

Kept me on edge of my seat. I love the long talk texan s series. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Diana Palmer is a great author! Sad to say this book really dragged. It could have been half the length and not so padded out. The couple carried out the same behaviour in every chapter - longing looks, kiss and then the hero scowls and leaves.

I read all about Cash and Tippy in other of books but this one I missed I enjoyed it, I learned a lot about the characters that I didn't know before. May 16, Lorie rated it really liked it. I loved it! Check out my review at discardedbooks. Was always interested in Cash's character and felt bad for him when he realized Christibel was in love with Judd, so it was good to see him get his happy ending with Tippy. Jan 01, Kathryn A. Great read A typical Diana Palmer story.

The hero is a tough man and the heroine is just as tough. Lots of romance. There are no discussion topics on this book yet. Be the first to start one ».
