Combipal autosampler manual

If you are sure your connections are all correct, I'd also say one of your cables is not good. Get a multimeter and check if the connections all go through on the cable. You might be able to troubleshoot a bad cable this way. Good luck. Thanks for the replies, everyone! I am coming into this at the end of a lot of troubleshooting. The lab had outside contractors work on the instrument prior to my hiring, and they apparently replaced all of the cables and a board in the CTC itself.

I'll see if we have any extra cables that I can swap out to check if that's the issue. I'm assuming that you are accessing this thru the hand-held controller?

I use the keypad to input the experimental conditions to the PAL. The Injector section of my Chemstation method is greyed-out and I do not have the options you mention. We replace all motors, flatband cables, flush tubes, worn toothracks and gears.

All sensors and boards are verified and updated or replaced to work with the latest PAL firmware. PALs can be custom configured to your needs. Please contact us for a quote. Site by NPMI. HOME About. The Combi PAL autosampler is able to perform liquid and headspace analysis. Our certification process includes a complete strip down, repaint and rebuild.

SPME reduces the time required for sample preparation and eliminates the use of large volumes of extraction solvents. In SPME, analytes establish equilibria among the sample matrix, the headspace above the sample, and a stationary phase coated on a fused silica fiber, then are thermally desorbed from the fiber to a capillary GC column. Because no solvent is injected, and the analytes are rapidly desorbed onto the column, minimum detection limits are improved and resolution is maintained.

All movements of the SPME fiber from precondition, adsorption and desorption are precisely controlled for optimum performance. Prior and during extraction the samples can be shaked and heated, which dramatically reduces analysis time for semivolatile compounds. After the compounds are thermally desorbed in the hot GC injector, the fiber may be fully cleaned again in a special heated and purged Fiber Conditioning Station. Easy to use The Cycle Composer affords complete control over sequence and location of liquid handling steps, thereby increasing throughput and productivity of the CombiPAL System.
